Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Elderwood at Cheektowaga

• Earn 11% more with our Pay in Lieu of Benefits Program
• Shift Differentials for evenings, nights & weekends: up to $3.00 / Hour
• Part-time position: Evenings (2 PM - 10 PM)
• Salary: $17 - $23 per hour

Note: Candidates must have a valid CNA certification. We are not currently hosting CNA training classes.

Responsibilities:

The CNA is responsible for:

• Monitoring and directing personal care duties of assigned nursing assistants
• Reporting residents' symptoms, needs, and progress to the Charge Nurse
• Notifying changes in residents' conditions
• Following each resident's Profile of Care and supervising nursing assistants accordingly
• Responding promptly to residents' requests
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans

Qualifications:

• Active registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry (CNA)
• Preferred: Experience in a geriatric setting
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Caring and respectful attitude
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks to high standards
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
