Dial Senior Living in Overland Park, KS is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide essential daily living support to our residents. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and quality of life as you assist with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and routine activities.

You will monitor health, document changes, and collaborate with a care team to ensure consistent, respectful care. A state CNA certification and First Aid training are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification and active with state Nurse Aid Registry.
• Basic First Aid Training.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Monitor residents’ health and well‑being, take and record vitals, escalate changes to supervisor.
• Support transfers, positioning, walking and use of mobility aids.
• Document changes in residents’ status and routine care.
• Maintain accurate records of services and billing with supervisor monthly.
• Respond to call signals and emergencies promptly; contact support if needed.
• Help with housekeeping tasks in residents’ apartments and laundry as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and clean, sanitary spaces.
• Encourage social interactions and assist with activities as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and facility operations.
• Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor on shift.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services as scheduled.

Position Overview

This position will provide essential care to our residents by assisting them with activities of daily living while ensuring wellbeing and safety.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents by taking and recording vitals, reporting nuances to supervisor.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
• Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Assist with minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, including laundry if applicable.
• Maintain clean and sanitary resident spaces, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, chaperoning and assisting as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations, and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification and active with state Nurse Aid Registry
• Basic First Aid Training
• High school diploma or GED
