Dial Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a compassionate CNA to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and support a safe, dignified living environment.

You will document changes, help with mobility, engage residents in social activities, and follow infection control practices. CNA certification and state registry active status are required. We offer competitive benefits and flexible shifts.

• Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification current and active on state Nurse Aid Registry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic First Aid Training completed.

Responsabilités

• Provide essential care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor health, safety, and wellbeing; take and record vitals; report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, walking, and use of mobility aids.
• Document changes in residents’ status and maintain records of services provided.
• Respond to call signals and resident emergencies; contact emergency support as needed.
• Assist with housekeeping of resident apartments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Encourage socialization and assist with activities as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and facility operations.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services; perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position will provide essential care to our residents by assisting them with activities of daily living while ensuring wellbeing and safety.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents by taking and recording vitals, reporting nuances to supervisor.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
• Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Assist with minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, including laundry if applicable.
• Maintain clean and sanitary resident spaces, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, chaperoning and assisting as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations, and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification and active with state Nurse Aid Registry
• Basic First Aid Training
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior living
• Six months working in a healthcare setting
