Job summary

Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 55-bed post-acute care team on the campus of RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton. This on-site role supports residents with daily living activities, transfers, and meal assistance while upholding safety and dignity.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules, and a welcoming team environment. Weekend rotations are required, with Per Diem staff committing to at least one full weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine care, including bathing, dressing, and serving meals.
• Feed residents as necessary.
• Provide safe transfers.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
• Document clinical actions by completing forms, reports, and logs.

Education

Nursing Assistant certification (NJ)
