Job summary

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living. This full/part-time role requires every other weekend and collaborative work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent care.

The right candidate will hold NYS CNA certification, adapt to a fast-paced setting, and value resident advocacy, safety, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Identify and report changes in resident condition to ensure timely interventions.
• Participate in the pain management program and work with the interdisciplinary team to address resident needs.
• Serve as a Resident Advocate and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
• Interact and engage with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing resident needs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA at Van Duyn, you will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care. Every other weekend is required for this full and part-time position
