The Role

As a CNA at Highlight Healthcare of Aurora, you will play a crucial role in our residents' daily lives, helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and supported. We’re looking for individuals who have a strong sense of empathy, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make every resident’s day brighter.

Key Responsibilities

• Care Champion: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Resident Support Specialist: Assist with mobility, including lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents to various locations (bed, chair, wheelchair, etc.) with safety and care.
• Team Player: Work closely with other team members to create a positive, calm, and engaging atmosphere throughout the unit, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented environment.
• Accurate Documentation: Chart promptly and accurately in the POC, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with facility standards.
• Policy and Procedure Adherence: Follow all facility and departmental policies to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Illinois (IL CNA Certification required).
• New CNAs are welcome to apply!

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
