Job summary

Leominster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, hygiene, and hydration. You will document intake, monitor health concerns, and support the care team in a family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• CNA required; preferred 1 year of experience.
• Provide compassionate daily resident care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, hydration, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe residents and report health concerns to supervising staff.
• Document resident intake and meals; assist with feeding and nourishments.
• Keep resident rooms clean and organized; assist with bed-making and transport as needed.
• Support nursing and other staff and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making the Resident’s beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Experience:

• CNA: 1 year (Preferred)
