Job summary

Franklin Plaza on the West Side of Cleveland is hiring Entry Level Nurse Aides to support residents with daily activities and basic care. Training is provided so you can become a Nursing Aide and grow within the organization.

We offer NATCEP certification, starting pay at $17.00/hour with shift differentials for 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am, and nursing tuition discounts through partnerships with Hondros College and Chamberlain University.

Qualifications

• NATCEP certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED and basic computer skills required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to effectively multitask and remain calm under pressure required.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting, bending, turning, and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance to residents (walking, mobility, dressing, bathing, eating, bathroom).
• Work closely with nursing and medical teams to notice changes in residents' conditions.
• Support residents' quality of life and wellbeing on a daily basis.

Job Summary

Nurse Aides in long term care play a vital role on the team- they provide hands-on assistance for our residents, including walking/mobility, dressing, bathing, eating, and using the bathroom. They develop close bonds with our residents and families and have the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of many people. Nurse Aides work very closely with our nursing and medical teams as they are often the first to notice changes in conditions in our residents.
