Job summary

Legacy Village of Salt River is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our senior living team. You will provide hands-on care, support, companionship, and encouragement to residents in a safe, comfortable environment.

We offer competitive pay of $19–$22 per hour, 401(k) with 4% match, hotel discounts, health insurance with HSA options, and PTO. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and follow care plans to promote

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates working toward completion may be considered.
• 0–1 year of experience in senior living, healthcare, or caregiving is helpful but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, resident-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate in a team.
• Understanding of safety, lifting techniques, and when to ask for assistance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living ( bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting ).
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics.
• Take and report vital signs; communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with medications as permitted by training and state regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Follow care plans, policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
