Job summary

Autumn Embers Senior Living seeks a dedicated CNA Caregiver/Medication Aide to join our team. The role administers prescribed medications, assists with activities of daily living, and documents care accurately while protecting resident dignity.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, communicating concerns to Wellness Director, and supporting a person-centered care approach in a team environment. Full-time, 1st shift with alternating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have completed medication administration training per state and facility policies.
• Prior direct care experience is preferred but not required.
• CBRF Class Certifications (Standard Precautions, First Aid/Choking, Fire Safety, Medication Administration) may be required or pursued.

Observes the resident taking the medication, notes effects including any unexpected or adverse effects, correctly documents the required information in the residents’ medication administration records, communicates any concerns or observations with the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator, or designated personnel. The Medication Aide also supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
