Job summary

A Place at Home – Encinitas is seeking caregivers to provide one-on-one care, companionship, and support for seniors and adults with disabilities across North County San Diego. The role includes assisting with daily activities, mobility, and hygiene while maintaining safety and dignity.

Ideal candidates are reliable, coachable, and professional, bringing warmth and teamwork. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, with potential for growth and benefits as described in the care package.

Qualifications

• Caregivers must be licensed CNA, HHA, or Medical Assistant to qualify.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Must pass background checks and employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship for seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities.
• Assist with ADLs — bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, toileting, hygiene, and more.
• Maintain client safety and dignity with professionalism.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the office team.
• Represent A Place at Home – Encinitas with compassion, reliability, and respect.
