Job summary

Right at Home in Fort Worth, TX is seeking caring CNAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. You will provide essential daily living assistance, companionship, and safe, reliable care with emphasis on dignity and independence.

The role requires a CNA with at least six months of experience, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn. CPR is recommended and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months CNA experience in health care.
• Competency Evaluation completed per state licensing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.
• Current CPR certificate recommended.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Transfer patients from bed to wheelchair or toilet seat.
• Assist with ostomy bag changes and dressing reinforcement.
• Help use devices for daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair, gait belt).
• Assist with prescribed ROM exercises.
• Support self-administered simple urine tests as required.
• Assist with meals, diet preparation, and intake/output tracking.
• Take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure).
• Apply external catheter and assist with splints as needed.
