Mission for this Position

The mission of the Memory Care Professional is to improve quality of life for Tender Rose clients and their families. The MCP provides non-medical companionship care for clients with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, delivering person-centered, activity-based care focused on luxury-brand customer service to enhance mood and quality of life.

Schedule

• Part-Time: 4 hrs and 8 hrs shifts
• Full-Time: Tuesday-Saturday or Thursday-Sunday

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities to meet clients’ fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments daily, even as the disease progresses.
• Provide individualized care by creating activities engaging clients’ abilities in social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual, and spiritual areas.
• Ensure each day is filled with joy, dignity, and meaning through person-centered, activity-based care.
• Must be able to drive own vehicle to outings and appointments.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience
• Dementia care experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
• Pass a background check with a clean driving record
• Home Care Aide Registration
