Job summary

Right at Home Southeast San Antonio in Floresville is looking for caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist with personal and companion care, transportation, meals, and daily living activities, with reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.

Duties include transferring clients, housekeeping, and medication reminders. The role may involve dementia care, ROM assistance, and engaging clients through activities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transferring/moving the client around the home.
• Housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
• Meal preparation and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanying on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, shaving and medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Skills

We are looking for an experienced caregiver in the Floresville area who is skilled in both companion and personal care. Reliable transportation and a valid ID are required. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and random drug screenings. We offer weekly pay.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
