Job summary

Right at Home is seeking caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs in the Floresville area. The role involves assisting with basic personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errand accompaniment, and companionship. Applicants must pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and a valid ID; CNA/HHA/PCA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check

• CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving clients around their home
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, floors, dishes, laundry, bathroom)
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments
• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, shaving
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with range of motion exercises
• Provide companionship and dementia care

Right at Home is looking for Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs!

We are looking for an experienced caregiver in the Floresville area who is skilled in both companion and personal care. Reliable transportation and a valid ID are required. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and random drug screenings. We offer weekly pay.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
