Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking both part-time and full-time CNAs to join our residential program in West Chester, PA. You will provide nursing care and support for clients with brain injuries, focusing on health promotion and stability.

Shifts are mix of 7a-3p and 1p-9p, with a required Saturday or Sunday shift. Requirements include a HS diploma, state CNA certification, at least two years in rehab, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification required
• Two years related work experience in rehab/long-term care preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Attends to the individual needs of clients including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, transfers and ambulation
• Performs clinical tasks such as vital signs, weights, and applying creams/ointments
• Provides care to clients at program locations or during medical appointments as needed
• Lifts, moves, and transports clients using proper body mechanics
• Maintains skin integrity and prevents pressure ulcers by turning and repositioning immobile clients

Hourly Rate: $21/hour

Schedule Options

Mix of 7a-3p and 1p-9p shifts. A Saturday or Sunday shift is required.

Job Summary

We are searching for both Part and Full Time CNA’s to work in our residential program located in West Chester, PA. This position provides nursing care and facilitation services for assigned clients within each designated program location(s). The individual in this role is responsible for specific procedures and interventions for assigned clients. This position also provides services to clients which are focused on health promotion, wellness, and medical stability.

Essential Duties & Functions

• Attends to the individual needs of clients which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, follow-through of stable activity pattern, or other needs in keeping with the individual’s care requirements
• Performs various tasks involving client clinical treatment as assigned, including vital signs, weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc.
• May support or provide direct care to clients at program locations or while on medical appointments as needed
• Lifts, moves, and transports clients, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Provides care that maintains each client’s skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent clients, turning, repositioning immobile clients, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course, or other education that meets state certification requirements, is required
• Possesses a minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license, and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
