Job summary

State of Wyoming’s Veterans' Home is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate, home-like care to residents. The role supports daily living, advocacy, and engaging activities in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree (Healthcare) or related field.
• CNA Certification required for employment.
• Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience in Human Services also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to residents in home, work, school, church and community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote community inclusion.
• Advocate for residents to communicate needs, preferences and goals.
• Deliver daily individual and group activities to clients.
• Plan and prepare group and special event programming.
• Document weekly progress and participation.
• Attend treatment team meetings and shift change reports.
