Job summary
Stone Rehab and Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care across full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts. The role includes assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes to licensed nurses, while promoting a respectful environment and patient dignity.
Successful candidates hold MA CNA certification, are fluent in English, and are committed to infection control and resident safety.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the MA state registry.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while promoting dignity and independence.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
- Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols, responding to call lights, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety throughout the shift.
