Job summary

Stoney Point Healthcare Center in California is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role provides routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans and supervisor directions.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, accurately documenting care, and maintaining a safe, warm environment. Shifts available are 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am, with options for full- or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA certification and be enrolled/actively practicing.
• Ability to read, interpret care plans and document accurately.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents as outlined in care plans.
• Identify residents before procedures using wristbands or photo IDs and document appropriately.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts; report changes to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to privacy policies.
• Escort and assist residents in daily activities, meals, and transfers between rooms.
• Follow policies for exposure to blood and body fluids and maintain a safe care environment.
