Job summary

Providence is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Seward, Alaska to support patient care under the supervision of an RN. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate needs between patients and the care team.

Eligible full-time external hires can receive up to a $2,500 signing bonus. Alaska CNA certification and BLS within 30 days are required; 6 months in care settings preferred; Providence offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist with patient/resident care and safety.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and effective communication between patients and the care team.
