Qualifications

• Completing a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program and certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and changes in condition.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection following infection control protocols.
• Assist with ADLs and encourage independence where possible.
• Provide emotional support and build rapport with residents.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies following procedures.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
