Job summary

Aiken Technical College is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (C.N.A.) Adjunct Instructor. Classes may meet days, evenings, weekends, or online, with possible split schedules and dual enrollment teaching in high schools.

The role focuses on hands-on nursing instruction, syllabus development, and student supervision. Minimum requirements include an RN license with an associate degree or an LPN license with a Diploma, plus 1 year in long-term care and 2 years in the discipline.

Qualifications

• Instructional duties and classroom management experience.
• Ability to prepare syllabi and learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports and lesson plans.
• Prepare and maintain current course syllabi and ensure alignment with them.
• Recommend instructional materials and laboratory facilities for assigned courses.
• Supervise students during instruction and assess progress.
