Job summary

Baybreeze Rehab in Florida is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to support residents through engaging activities, live entertainment, and therapeutic recreation in a faith-based care setting.

You will follow individualized activity plans for residents with dementia or cognitive impairments, collaborate with staff to match activities to preferences, and help maintain records of participation and outcomes, promoting quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA Certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engaging activities including live entertainment and off-site day trips to promote residents' wellbeing.
• Follow individualized activity plans for residents with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with staff to align activities with residents' preferences and abilities.
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Maintain records of participation and outcomes of activities.
• Duties as assigned.
