Job summary

North Campus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leesburg, FL seeks a Full-Time Activities Aide (CNA) to support the Activities Director in planning and executing a diverse program of resident activities. The role includes coordinating events, leading activities, and maintaining thorough records to meet regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a CNA license in Florida, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
CNA license in Florida is required.
Six months to one year of activity-related experience.
Knowledge of aging and resident activities is preferred.
Ability to lead in absence of the Activity Director.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Keen creativity and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and directing a program of activities for residents.
Coordinate internal and external activities based on resident care plans.
Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend events.
Create an ongoing activity calendar accessible to residents and staff.
Maintain activity scheduling and documentation per regulations.
Develop and manage a volunteer program and recruit volunteers.
Prepare progress notes reflecting residents' progress to staff.
Maintain all activity-related records and assessments.
