Arbor Acres CNA position in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist residents with daily living and support nursing staff. You will help maintain a warm, dignified environment for our seniors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CNA I certification, and the ability to lift 30 lbs. Bilingual is a plus. We offer a competitive salary with shift/weekend differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing care to geriatric residents.

• Record vital signs, bowel/bladder function and intake/output.

This program assists in determining whether applicants/employees are able to safely perform essential job functions.CNA Key Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBe able to express verbal ideas and impart information to residents and residents’ families.Extensive ability to respond to emergencies rapidly.Must be able to operate Hoyer Lift and Arjo whirlpool tubs.Work habits should include regular attendance, punctuality, teamwork, initiative, willingness to learn, dependability and promptness.Must be able to perform mental functions and withstand moderate amounts of stress.Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of a 24 hour daily operation.Strong verbal communication skills.
