Job summary

Carlton Shores Health and Rehab Center in Daytona Beach, FL, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a caring team. The role delivers direct resident care under licensed supervision and supports a compassionate environment with strong teamwork.

Sign-on bonuses are offered for full-time and part-time positions. Qualified applicants hold Florida CNA certification, CPR, and preferably a year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from Florida.
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred.
• At least one year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meal intake.
• Routinely turn and position residents; monitor comfort and safety.
• Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plans with input from nurses.
• Provide hydration and assist with meals as needed.
• Record food intake and output accurately.
• Assist with呼 ventilation, temperature, light, and noise control.
• Take vital signs (TPR, BP) as directed.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
