Job summary

The Cascades at Delray Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role with shifts from 7am to 3pm, and every other weekend. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, administer medications when required, and document care in the patient chart.

You will contribute to a caring, patient-focused environment in our senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CNA certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Must be compassionate and patient with all types of patients.
• Experience in long-term care or acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor patients' vital signs (temp, BP, pulse).
• Administer medications and document in patient charts.
• Keep patient rooms clean and tidy.
• Assist with mobility using walkers or wheelchairs and position patients.
• Record care provided accurately and timely; report changes to the healthcare team.
• Respond to patient calls promptly; perform other duties as assigned.
