St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community Hazel Green, WI (15 minutes from Dubuque, IA) offers Nursing Students the opportunity to join as a Medication Administration Aide (MAA). Gain hands-on experience while pursuing your nursing degree in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Position Details

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with a variety of scheduling options. Shift availability may vary based on the needs of the community.

This position may include 8-hour shifts, including weekend rotation as scheduled.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides person-centered assistance with ADLs, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, per the care plan.
• Monitors residents’ condition responds to needs promptly, reports changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately documents care each shift.
• Promotes dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication while following safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
• Participates in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

• At least 16 years of age.
• Active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Current CPR certification
