Qualifications

• Texas State certification as a nursing assistant is required.
• Comfort with lifting and assisting residents as part of daily care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Promote independence for residents within policy.
• Notify charge nurse of resident status at shift start/end.
• Contribute to resident care plans with observations and data.
• Assist in implementing care plans per policy and procedure.
• Observe and document resident status and condition as required.
• Follow safe lifting and transfer procedures.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
