Job summary

Edisto Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 113-bed facility in Orangeburg, SC. You will support resident care with 12-hour shifts, greet residents, and assist with daily activities in a warm, team-focused environment.

Applicants must hold a South Carolina CNA certification and be able to work 12-hour shifts; a strong commitment to compassion and teamwork is essential for delivering excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Current, active SC CNA certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education and CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on charts and flow sheets; report changes to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality and report any violations or improper access to information.
• Assist with moving, transporting, and positioning residents; help with loading/unloading as needed.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new residents and greet them, introducing roommates and staff.
• Follow policies; participate in nursing reports; monitor for skin issues and report injuries.
