Job summary

Provider Health Services LLC in Worthington, OH, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to work weekends with an individual male client. This weekend position focuses on compassionate care, dignity, and teamwork in a supportive healthcare environment.

The role targets Saturday and Sunday shifts for dedicated weekend coverage. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, meals, and documentation, and collaborate with the care

Qualifications

• Current, valid CNA certification in Ohio.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety protocols
• Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements:

• Current, valid CNA certification in the state of Ohio
• Previous experience in a home health, long-term care, or clinical setting preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical needs
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a care team
