Tennessee Quality Care Hospice is hiring a CNA to join our growing team in Waynesboro, TN. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with match, and generous time off.

The role is Monday through Friday daytime hours with coverage area in Waynesboro and surrounding counties. As a CNA, you will provide personal care, support daily living activities, assist with meals, monitor skin health, and report changes to the Case Manager.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide by the state.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• 18 years of age or older where required by law.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: baths, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing and changing linens.
• Assist with dressing and undressing.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor skin condition and report changes to the Case Manager.
• Document patient status and communicate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide
• List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients
• 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
• Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements

What You’ll Do

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping
• Assisting in feeding the patient
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
