Job summary

Serenity Hospice is seeking a caring and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional end-of-life care to our patients and support to their families on a part-time weekend schedule. This role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include personal care, monitoring patient conditions, emotional support, and documentation. Candidates must hold a current CNA certification and have reliable transportation to fulfill

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be needed for certain assignments.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care are essential.

• Provide personal care to patients including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to patient care.
• Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
