Job summary

South Coast Post Acute in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing care focused on residents' personal needs and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living, aiding with ambulation and transfers, and supporting treatments. We value confidentiality, safety, and person-centered care, with opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Current CNA certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Assist residents with ambulation and transfers.
  • Assist licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.

If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will deliver efficient and effective nursing care essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting residents with or performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
  • Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers.
  • Assisting licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
  • Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have:

  • Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
  • Current CNA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
  • Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
