Job summary

Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Pomona, CA. The role focuses on resident-centered care, supporting daily living activities, monitoring safety, and collaborating with licensed nurses to deliver high-quality nursing care.

You will work under a licensed nurse to perform treatments, assist with transfers, and ensure confidentiality while upholding our family-oriented environment and excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• Complete a state-approved CNA program.
• Hold an active CNA certification.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate basic computer literacy or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promote a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), You Will Put Resident Service First And Ensure That Residents And Their Families Receive The Highest Quality Care. Under The Direction Of a Licensed Nurse, You Will Deliver Efficient And Effective Nursing Care Essential To Caring For The Personal Needs And Comfort Of Residents. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To

• Assisting residents with or performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assisting licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have

• Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
• Current CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice To Have

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Behavioral care / memory care experience
