Job summary

HPC is seeking PRN CNAs for both the home care and the Heartford House locations in Owensboro, KY. The role involves significant physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and requires completion of a Nursing Assistant Certification program and CPR certification.

Candidates must be willing to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary. The CNA will provide personal patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and coordinate with the care team to

Job description

This opening is for PRN CNAs for both the home care and the Heartford House locations.

The responsibilities of this position enumerated below, involve significant physical activities including standing, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. May be exposed to infectious waste/diseases, to include but not limited to TB, AIDS, COVID, and Hepatitis B viruses. Must be willing to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

DUTIES:

• Provides personal patient care (bathing, grooming hair, brushing teeth or dentures, shaving, dressing, etc.) and light housekeeping, if needed
• Maintains regular communication with the Aide Coordinator and/or Case Manager to update patient conditions.
• Works as part of an interdisciplinary team
