Job summary

Right at Home in Mississippi is hiring CNAs to join a dynamic in-home care team, delivering clinical support and helping clients stay at home. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in clients' residences and play a key role in their everyday comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, mobility, medication reminders, and glucose monitoring. Training and development are offered, with competitive pay and flexible schedules to support caregivers.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required or preferred.
• Experience in home health care is beneficial.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Assists with hygiene, ambulation/transfers, dressing/shaving, meals, errands or appointments, and light housekeeping.
• Provides hospice support, medication reminders, ROM exercises, blood glucose monitoring, and bed-bound care as needed.
• Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts when required.

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities

Performs patient-specific activities.

These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
• Care of bed-bound patients
• Incontinence care
