Emerald Nursing & Rehab Mercy is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support a safe, caring environment.

We offer full-time or PRN hours across multiple shifts, with teamwork-focused on quality resident care and collaboration with nurses. Nebraska CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift/move residents and perform physical tasks.
• Current Nebraska CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility assistance: transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Accurately document all care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation; provide companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.

• -6am-10pm Doubles every Saturday and Sunday (Baylor incentive)
• -10pm-6am, Four Nights on and Two Night off rotation
• -PRN as needed also available.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications
