We seek compassionate caregivers who communicate well, manage time effectively, and adhere to health and safety standards to support clients and families across the community.

Qualifications

• Proof of caregiving experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, cooking with dietary considerations.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Demonstrates respect, compassion, and strong ethics.
• Good time management and communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility and attending appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input as able.
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and report incidents.
• Act quickly in emergencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
