Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven, CT is hiring part-time CNAs for first and second shifts (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) with every-other-weekend coverage. We are currently hiring part time, every other weekend, CNAs for first shift (7am-3pm) and second shift (3pm-11pm).
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' health and well-being. You'll work alongside licensed nurses and an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive exceptional care with dignity and respect.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition
Support residents with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
Active CNA Certification in the state of CT
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
