Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our in-home care team serving clients in Mandeville, LA. You will provide one-on-one personal care, monitor client health, and support daily living activities to keep clients safe and comfortable at home.

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana CNA certification required.
• Experience in home health, long-term care or clinical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation for safety and independence.
• Monitor and document client health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals and nutritional monitoring; light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Follow care plans and home health care protocols.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Active and valid CNA certification in the state of Louisiana
• Prior experience in home health, long-term care, or a clinical setting preferred
• Strong understanding of personal care, infection control, and patient safety practices
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Slidell, LA area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
