Ambercare Hospice in Las Vegas, NM is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life while assisting with personal care and supporting patients in their home.

We offer a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with autonomy to manage and coordinate patient visits, competitive pay plus mileage, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with matching, paid time off,

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Maintains a current CPR Certification.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise.
• Valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping
• Assisting in feeding the patient
• Providing proper care and observation of patients skin to prevent breakdown of tissue
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
