Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts.
• Help residents with personal hygiene and provide emotional support.
• Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake, and assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including making beds and keeping resident areas tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility and assist with daily activities as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
• Adhere to professional standards, facility policies, and federal, state, and local requirements.
