Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System is seeking a Night shift nursing aide to assist in providing patient care in the 4 South Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. You will work cooperatively with the care team and participate in maintaining standards of care using the nursing process.

The role requires completion of a Nurse Aide Training Program with certification maintained; RN/LPN students may be eligible as non-licensed employees, performing only delegated tasks while in training.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of Nurse Aide Training Program. Maintenance of certification is required.
• Must have completed basic nursing skills course with clinical experience within the curriculum. Post graduate LPN or RN will be eligible to work as a non licensed employee. Performing only task delegated to a non licensed nursing employee.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent education in non licensed nursing assistant duties preferred.
