Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the 3pm-11pm shift. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and an active CNA certification.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and support residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Document care and report condition changes to nursing staff.
• Support development and implementation of individualized care plans.
