Job summary

Ambercare Hospice in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients at home. You will provide personal care, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the Case Manager to promote comfort and quality of life.

The role offers daytime Monday–Friday scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of Addus HomeCare. Ideal candidates will be state-certified CNAs with CPR certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Maintains a current CPR Certification.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record to deliver care.
• 18 years of age or older (as required by state law).
• Valid driver’s license with an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assisting in feeding the patient.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent tissue breakdown.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
