Horizons Care Center is hiring a qualified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Colorado. This is a full-time position with day and night shifts, offering competitive hourly pay and a shift differential.

The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care under state and facility guidelines, helping residents with ADLs and daily tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with personal cares, meals, vital signs, and restorative nursing activities, while maintaining documentation and quality care standards.

Formación

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in CO.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, mobility, toileting, eating).
• Document ADLs accurately and follow shift routines and care procedures.
• Assist with meals and monitor food/fluid intake; report swallowing difficulties.
• Support restorative nursing program (ROM, ambulation, transfers) as directed by the nurse.

Pay Range: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour, based on previous work experience! PLUS $1.50 per hour night shift differential.

Schedules: Fulltime DAYS and NIGHTS available. 72 hours per pay period | 3 shifts per week 6am - 6pm OR 6pm - 6am | days will vary, every other weekend required.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of CO.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The primary role of the Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established facility nursing care procedures and, in a manner,compliant with all state and federal regulations as well as with any applicable facility policies and procedures.

• Assists residents with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bed mobility, toileting and eating. Documents ADL’S appropriately.
• Follows all shift routines, policy and procedures regarding accurate performance of vital signs, weights, etc. Understands/supports Resident Bill of Rights.
• Serves meals and assists residents with eating. Records accurate food and fluid intake as assigned. Reports any chewing or swallowing difficulty to the nurse.
• Assists the resident with the restorative nursing program including but not limited to, passive and active range of motion, ambulation with appropriate assistive devices and use of transfer belt.
