Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. in New York, NY, invites applications for an Associate on the Climate, Nature and Social (CN&S) Risk team.

You will analyze climate, nature and social risks within the firm's portfolios and prepare written insights for senior management and internal groups. The ideal candidate has experience in financial risk analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex technical content into concise communications for external and internal audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, public policy, or related field.
• Experience in credit/counterparty and/or market risk management is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize technical information and extract key messages clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience synthesizing technical information for senior audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research and analysis on climate, nature and social risk topics affecting the firm’s portfolio.
• Apply financial risk management frameworks to cross–line of business projects.
• Develop presentations and internal reports communicating quantitative information on risk topics.
• Track regulatory deliverables, perform horizon scanning, and share summaries with the team.
• Identify and pilot analytics and AI/GenAI use cases to enhance CN&S risk insights and communications.
