Job summary

SPI - Specialty Products & Insulation is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle locally in Georgia. The role emphasizes excellent customer service as drivers are the company’s ambassadors and require reading/writing English and navigation software proficiency.

This safety-sensitive position includes early start times (5:30–7:00 am) with about 20% warehouse involvement and potential additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001-26,000 lbs).
• Acceptable DMV record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
• Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
