Job description

CMT Project Engineer- Project Manager

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. of Greenville, SC is seeking to hire a full-time Project Engineer to work in our Construction Services Division (CMT). The main responsibility for this role will be to serve as one of our team staff engineers or project leaders to help manage inspection services for construction projects located throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, oversight of inspections and testing of soils; reinforced concrete and masonry; modular retaining wall construction; monitoring of asphalt placement; structural steel inspections; and evaluation of laboratory test data. Tasks may also include assisting with geotechnical-related projects such as soil boring layout, classification of soils, or other geotechnical design parameters.

This individual will be responsible for generating fees through managing and developing existing and new client relationships. The candidate will complete project proposals, develop estimated costs and budgets, and deliver other project-related documentation. The role also involves reviewing project specifications and inspection requirements for assigned projects, reviewing daily inspection reports, and ensuring timely delivery of reports to clients and project teams. The candidate should be willing to make site visits to review construction activities, oversee site inspector activities, build relationships with contractors and owners, and provide engineering support when required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
